Ever since Take Care dropped in 2011, I've had an unhealthy obsession with Drake. Haters gonna hate, but the boy known to his mum as Audrey Drake Graham is a superstar in every sense of the word. While anticipation builds for third album, Nothing Was The Same, older track "On My Way" has resurfaced in a whole new format.
"On My Way" first appeared way back in 2010 as just a small portion of a new Drake song that never materialized in any complete form. This updated rendition retains the downtempo experimental feel of the original, with additional vocals from Cocaine 80s member James Fauntleroy, who also appeared on Drake's brilliant "Girls Love Beyonce."
There's a very Take Care feel to "On My Way," with Drake getting all emotional about making love to his favorite girl. The guy's such a sweet heart. Why this amended version was released is still a mystery, but any new Drake is better than no Drake in my book.
