After years of telling anyone who'd listen that G-Unit would never reform, 50 Cent blindsided fans at HOT 97's Summer Jam 2014, bringing out Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Young Buck and Kidd Kidd -- much to the pleasure of the packed New York crowd.
After debuting new single "Nah I'm Talking About" yesterday, the group have dropped a remix of Drake's, "0-100," and it's hot. Ok, to be honest, anyone rapping bars over a Drake beat has more than a 50 percent chance of making it work (see what I did there?), and with the charisma of G-Unit, this is a no brainer.
50, Banks and Buck impress as usual, 50 protege Kidd Kidd is serviceable. As for Yayo, he continues to demonstrate why he has always been the weak link of G-Unit, and the less said about his contribution the better.
Now if they could only get Game back on board...
