Why do we like this?
From Soulection comes another great artist: Dpat. Scouring the Internet hasn't been fruitful at this late hour, so I regret to say I failed on the informational side of this post. I can report, however, that Dpat wrote Wiz Khalifa's "Remember You" featuring The Weeknd.
Straight facts aside, Dpat's "Over" is a damn powerful track. Each intertwining element works together with the next to create a buoyancy, albeit shrouded in a cloak of darkness. Dense bass starts off the tune, tumbling forward with intermittent breaths, vocal samples, and a gorgeously layered harrowing melody.
