Why do we like this?

Portland's own Donte Thomas found me on Twitter back in May, which is how I was first introduced to his catalog—a number of college rap, J. Cole Pandora station type vibes.

Now that Thomas has dropped his debut album GRAYSCALE, I find myself drawn to this Taebeast-produced cut titled "Never Know." It's the raw hip-hop I'm missing from these Apple Music recommended playlists.
