Why do we like this?

Portland's Fresh Selects label follows up a strong 2014 with the release of their first new artist, Dolphin -- ahe Baltimore-based singer-songwriter and musician.

Written for his mother, Dolphin's "Young Black Mind" is a seven-minute opus showcasing the author's timeless approach. That timeless bit is serious, by the way; Dolphin has written and recorded dozens of albums that have never seen the light of day. This is his first official outing.  

Expect a full-length LP from Dolphin in 2015.
