Why do we like this?

Earlier this year we featured the soulful "Birds," the first single from new artist Dolly Ave. A minimalistic R&B tune about mental illness, the track's a great introduction to Ave's sound and ambition as an artist. This week Ave released a remix of the track by Chicago producer Prov. 

Adding electronic flourishes and handclap effects, "Birds" is turned into a tropical house banger. Ave's appetizing vocals pair well with the reinvigorated uptempo production, with "Birds" starting off a dance floor banger before veering into '70s disco territory. 

I'm really keen to see what Ave has in store next and can't wait for her next official single to drop.
