Why do we like this?

DM Stith, a veteran of the NYC indie scene, has been making appearances alongside Son Lux, Sufjan Stephens, and My Brightest Diamond in recent years, but has released little since his critically acclaimed 2009 release Heavy Ghost.

Recently, his SoundCloud has started to come alive with new songs, and this latest teases at the possibility of a new album, possibly being released this summer, if rumors are true.

"Amylette," his latest, is an uncommonly haunting, sparse and intricate track of incredible beauty. Don't miss it.
