The City Speaks
Djo drops a track that feels like the new age synth equivalent of an anxious breakdown and I am sinking deeper into it.
Synths are what cities sound like when they breathe and "End of Beginning" is the soundtrack to a city's sadness. The track feels like a pulse of electricity through the roads and lungs of a city falling apart from the inside and the medicine is making it all floaty.
The track builds until there is nowhere to go until the pulse of the city dies out and the rhythm dies out. The city has a memory, experiences, and a feeling of overwhelming dread, but boy does it not satisfy the ears and make the heart happy to listen to this city's epic tale?
