Why do we like this?
R&B edits seem to be especially popular within the grime genre at the moment -- so much so that some have christened it R&B. One man who has managed to draw a lot of attention (without even releasing a tune) is DJ Milktray.
To be fair, on the back of tracks like "Hotel," it's not hard to see why. All we have is a tantalizing, minute-long clip of the track, but even that is proving pretty addictive. Sampling Cassidy & R Kelly's "Hotel" and adding in punchy drums, this is sure to go off in any setting.
The track is not released yet, but Milktray has promised it will be forthcoming, possibly on the Unknown to the Unknown label. Keep up with DJ Milktray on Facebook for updates.
