Why do we like this?
What could be more pleasing than a minimal dance number with Caribou's Dan Snaith on it? I don't know about you, but I'm pretty much a fan of anything this dance dude produces, and if you feel me on this, you will definitely enjoy DJ Koze's upbeat number "Track ID Anyone?"
Upon listening, you might notice that this cut undeniably resembles the work found in Caribou's Swim album, but it adds a bit more sound deconstruction in the midst of massive bass percussions and silky landscapes. Within the track, this Hamburg minimalist house producer wanders through some pervasive musical intensities, but ultimately delivers a cosmos of sounds that gears us in a positive direction for what's to come.
DJ Koze's first album in eight years, Amygdala, comes out March 26, 2013 via his own Pampa Records.
