Why do we like this?
A couple weeks back, I shared DJ Koze's "Track ID Anyone" featuring electronic wunderkind Caribou, and seeing as how I'm totally amped his for long-awaited double LP album dropping later this month, I proudly give you "My Plans," featuring the austere vocal stylings of Matthew Dear.
This collaboration is definitely the more bizarre one out of the two I have heard, but it's undeniably catchy nonetheless. Throughout the song you might hear some R&B influence intertwined, with layered synth and colorful micro-house guidance -- but when combined, this track brings forward big things in terms of what we can expect to find in Amygdala.
Look out for Amygdala when it drops on March 26, 2013 via Pampa Records.
