Why do we like this?
German house veteran DJ Koze has taken a step away from familiar territory on latest album Amygdala, embracing psychedelic and pop influences into his songs.
"Homesick," which features vocals from Ada, proves this case and point. Resident Advisor describe it as "hip-hop swagger that's undercut by glinting bells and Ada's gorgeous vocal hook." We featured it in this Sunday Night Chill playlist a few weeks back, but felt like it merited its own post as well.
Amygdala, which has been described as Koze's Sgt. Pepper, is out now.
