You may not be too familiar with the name DJ JD Sports (named after a discount UK sports chain), but you are likely more familiar with King Krule, the work he records under another name.
"Where Can You Be" is a departure from the normal spoken work of King Krule, instead occupying instrumental territory that lies somewhere between the smoky hip-hop of Madlib and the washed out dubstep of recent collaborators Mount Kimbie. Indeed, even a Portishead comparison can be drawn, and it's not hard to see why.
