I'm usually pretty critical when it comes to female-fronted synth-pop. It has a tendency to always sound the same: high quality but predictable. There needs to be something truly special that sets it apart...
Fortunately for Ontario-based outfit Dizzy, "Stars And Moons" manages to hit the spot for me. Is it the melody? Maybe. Could just be the perfect vocal delivery, though all those other synth-pop tracks have the same thing. Maybe it's just a bit of magic sauce? Who knows.
Bottom line is that it's good. I hope you're able to sit back and enjoy <3
