Why do we like this?
I recently downloaded Diversa's Ego Death EP and subsequently sunk into an envious wallow. I don't understand how Diversa thinks up the music he does, but what I do know is that it's bloody brilliant!
His sound is entirely confusing and undoubtedly mesmerizing. Take, for instance, this song. "Fishnet" is some kind of sweet love child between chillwave, deep house, and techno. Diversa's recent feature on the Inspected compilation means that he draws inspiration from drum and bass.
Diversa is easily the most interesting artist I've heard for a solid year now. Do yourself one mammoth favor and download this track, then go and download everything else by this guy. You wont regret it.
