The Shoulder Strut Magnifico
Honestly, no jokes, no icing, I struggled to write this article because I was bopping too much, I was shoulder strutting the whole time...the whole damn time!
Disclosure has always been on my radar and also in my "Jams" playlist, but never have I been so utterly enthralled in a piece of House music like this. I am (as one would know by now) a huge fan of space-fare electro-music ie.Daft Punk. However, Disclosure's "Expressing What Matters" takes my space opera taste and pulls it down to earth, grounding me in a simple and vastly enjoyable piece of house music that hasn't let go for a while now.
This makes me feel like strutting, it makes me feel like moving and it makes me feel like I am possibly the coolest human in the world (false though it may be.) This song is a flight path compared to space navigation, but it's a flight path on a 5-start jet with champagne and caviar.
It expresses exactly what matters — strutting and moving like the coolest human on earth.
