I don’t know what you were doing when you were 14 years old, but I certainly wasn’t releasing EPs onto iTunes like this young man was.
Even at just 17 years old, California-based Caden Jester has made and explored a wide range of electronic music. He’s experimented with his sound, found he got bored of heavy beats, and has recently switched into something that lands more into the category of future bass.
Comparisons with Disclosure immediately come to mind when I hear this. Since Disclosure themselves have taken their post-Settle act arguably in a different direction, there’s an open avenue for younger artists like Caden to explore this kind of sound in greater detail.
It’s clear there’s still a strong appetite out there for this kind of bass-infused and instantly likeable tracks — already this track has gathered a significant following on SoundCloud. In fact, all of Caden's releases net him big spins on SoundCloud.
I like Caden for the playfulness of his last name and even more for the enthusiasm he has for making electronic music. This young man promises more originals and remixes in the future. I wonder what else he can do?
