Why do we like this?
Generally, I don't like the Dirty Projectors. I'm not even sure I should be sharing this track...but at this point it's pretty clear that the band has a solid following. To boot, I don't actually hate this song too much.
The band has been going at it since 2002, and are on the verge of releasing a new album titled Swing Low Magellan. "Dance For You" is the second single we've heard (behind "Gun Has No Trigger")...and beyond featuring some great clapping, there's an awesome bridge halfway through. Frankly, it's the meat and potatoes of this post, and what keeps me listening.
That, and the sick guitar solo.
