Why do we like this?
Just days after announcing a joint album, Action Bronson and RiFF RaFF appear together on "Rock Steady," taken from Diplo's latest EP Revolution. The EP itself is Diplo at his crazy best, with a couple of dance tunes, a pop number, and some remixes, but it's the hip-hop influenced "Rock Steady" that caught my ear, especially the old school sirens sampled for the chorus.
Action Bronson and RiFF RaFF are the big names on the track, joined by Mr MFN eXquire and Nicky Da B over a fairly simple Diplo beat (when compared to the rest of the EP), with each rapper sticking to their usual flow. It must be said that RaFF's verse is all over the shop, but as usual, it somehow all fits together, making "Rock Steady" worth a listen.
