Digitalism Forrest Gump (Ft. Julian Casablancas)

So, chances are this will be the last Song of the Day I ever write. My expectation is that I'll be taken up this evening to sit with God. The rapture is nigh, people!!!

Back to task. Exactly a month ago I gave a heads up that Digitalism's new album I Love You Dude would contain a track co-written by Julian Casblancas. Fortunately, we now have the opportunity to listen to it before the end of the world.

While the track doesn't feature Julian's vocals, his influence is certainly identifiable throughout the instrumentals (as pointed out by the band on their Facebook). Frankly, I find myself increasingly excited to hear this full album. It's just too bad we won't be around for its release on June 20th
