Why do we like this?
As this song began, I found myself a skeptic. I always am when it comes to such simple drum beats. Fortunately I let it last to the 50-second mark, because that's the point it changes direction.
Which direction, you ask? Well, one featuring a fantastical vocal progression. That happens to be my weakness -- the dubstep and ensuing crazy rhythms were just secondary.
Dillon Francis has been on a bit of a tear lately, tackling songs left and right -- including Death Cab or Cutie's "Underneath the Sycamore Tree." Based out of LA, Dillon has already caught the attention of artists such as Steve Aoki and Diplo.
