I was looking for a song with bass today, and nothing was cutting it until I came across this instrumental track by Geerman "dance-punk" duo, Digitalism. Signed to Kitsuné, the group has released roughly five tracks and an album (Idealism) over their 6-year career. The rest of it has been made up by remixes of artists such as The White Stripes, Klaxons, Daft Punk and The Futureheads, to name a few.
One of their members, Jens, liked their songs to simple chapters in a complex novel about social interaction and attraction -- the distorted bass lines and thumping rhythms are supposed to comprise the punctuation. Pretty sure I consider myself punctuated after listening to this!
