Why do we like this?

Melbourne's Didirri may only be 22 years old, but his music speaks of doing things in an old fashioned way, and a wisdom beyond his years. 

His storytelling is unapologetic, his voice unfiltered, and his tempo not rushed. "Just give into now," he sings, asking the listener to join in the present moment with him.

Piano and acoustic guitar complement the character of this song and of Didirri himself, a creative who likes to make his work from scratch. In a time of electronically dominated tunes, this folk nostalgia of his should find a welcome home almost anywhere in the world.
