"Chew you up, you're tired," the lyrics of the chorus lie there, cryptic, stubborn, haunting. Undulating like a newly born; all alien and drenched in ethereal stench.
That's what "Choo Choo" sounds like to me. "Choo Choo" referring to how toxic relationships chew you up and spit you out.
Like in astrology, a heavily aspected Pluto lends to these Karmic connections. Karmic being that they pull us in like magnets and keep us until their mission is accomplished, no matter the suffering. After tangoing with such connections, life is then divided into ‘before’ and ‘after’. Nothing will ever be the same. The South African band, Diamond Thug speaks to this experience.
"Choo Choo" is a cry to lethal love, an opera of tension, a soundscape of epic emotion transforming 'toxicity' into an ethereal elixir, thus aiding in the release of a euphoric departure from all that was holding the heart hostage.
Pluto connections, karmic ties, toxic relationships, whatever you want to call them, ultimately they're there to heal us, but it's always a rough lesson that shifts the soul into a better place.
