Devault is one of those producers I didn't think I'd heard before, but now I realize he's pretty much everywhere. In 2016 alone, he's released a slew of killer remixes of artists like RL Grime, Travis Scott, and ZHU. Additionally, he's collaborated with producers like yung fuchsia, CRWNS and Wildfire to bring us ample amounts of future bass goodness.
About a week ago, he decided to step away from the remixes to give us two original melodic trap offerings, "Closer" and "Right With You."
"Right With You" is controlled, with a very slow and measured build up. It's simplicity allows you to get lost in the atmospheric quality of sounds. The "drop" is expansive, so much so that I'd consider it more of a rise. Is that a thing? It is now.
