Why do we like this?
So Destiny's Child's "Bills, Bills, Bills" mixed together with an acoustic-driven "Le Temps de l'Amour" from French songstress Francoise Hardy? Sounds pretty disastrous in my own head, but Brit songstress Whinnie Williams manages to bring this piece to life.
The funny thing is that I had absolutely no idea that Whinnie Williams was the new moniker of an Indie Shuffle favorite in Sunday Girl. Even from looking at her pictures and hearing her voice I didn't put the pieces together.
No matter, what is important here is that Whinnie is trying to re-establish herself today in what seems to be a 1960s-esque persona. It's only fitting that the backdrop is from the 1960s, and boy does her voice impress, transitioning the Destiny's Child song perfectly into the Parisian setting.
Check out her SoundCloud for some other delightful tracks that she has just released.
