Why do we like this?

Parisian producer and DJ Djedjotronic just released a remix of Depeche Mode's "Alone" via Boys Noize records, and it's an intelligent, symphonic piece of electronic music.

Trying to retain the duality of feelings within the original, emotive and fervent, Djedjotronic certainly accomplished his goal.  The verticality of the steadily pounding synths with the harrowing vocals brings these two aspects together beautifully.
