Why do we like this?
Deers is a Spanish duo originally comprised of Ana Garcia Perrote and Carlotta Cosials. Since forming last year, they have now expanded to a foursome that continues to indulge in the love of 60s pop and garage pop.
"Castigadas En El Granero," which translates roughly to "Grounded In The Barn," is the first track recorded by all four members, and is a sonic trip through fuzzy guitars, sweet harmonies, and surf pop melodies.
With the UK press already hyping them as the next big thing, Deers' balanced approach to 60s nostalgia and female-led garage pop is a no-brainer. It shouldn't be long till they are blowing up worldwide.
