Why do we like this?
Brand spanking new single from the upcoming Death Cab For Cutie remix LP, due to be released on November 22nd. This one features "You Are A Tourist" being remixed by The 2 Bears.
The original song was one of the more upbeat on Death Cab's latest album, Codes and Keys. In case you haven't listened to it yet, well...you should. It's got to be one of the better albums to be released this year (the first track, "Home Is A Fire" kills me every time).
Appropriately, this remix picks up the tempo of the original even more, bringing an 80s-esque keyboard into the mix. Then it brings everything together with a sweet bridge, which makes the 6-minute track length acceptable.
I have high hopes for this remix album. Fingers crossed that it doesn't sound as bad as the Phoenix one did...
