As loyal fans know, the man behind the mau5 has been uploading (and taking down) preview tracks from his upcoming album. "Drop the Poptart" was one of these tracks.
Before vanishing, DJ LEVI (part of duo Faction) ripped the vocals and created a fully-fleshed out progressive house ode to the mau5. DJ LEVI, who hails from France, kept the melodic vibe of the piano ballad and delicate vocal accompaniment of the intro and added some of his own signature vision.
As the beat accelerates, LEVI unveils his plans to take you on an epic journey. You can picture Colleen Moreaux (on vocals) in a vast meadow-- unsure of which way to go, dealing with inner turmoil-- then finally transforming it into her power source and finding her path.
