Why do we like this?
Looks like this new track comes as a rework of a Deadmau5 original that was released some time between 1998 and 2002. You can tell that it's a bit older because it lacks the womp womp dubstep wobble direction that Joel Zimmerman has been heading in the last couple years. That said, he still just released this as a rework.
I like it in particular because it's a bit of that minimal house music -- a slow buildup, that never overpowers the listener, leaving them ready to space out in front of their computer or at a show. Sure, it could bore the live listener (relative to some of his other tracks), but there is undoubtedly an element of uptempo, danceable house music.
