I definitely like a good short song, especially when every second is filled with raw emotion. "Only Child" by Perth duo Dead Owls is by no means the shortest song I've come across, but for its length it's certainly one of the most anthemic that I've heard in a while.
In just over 2 and a half minutes you can hardly take a breath. This track progresses from a solemn folk track in the beginning to an indie rock anthem that would fill a stadium with pure excitement and exuberance. It's emotive rock at its very best and I'm glad it's coming from my hometown.
