Why do we like this?

De La Soul is currently in the midst of recording the crowdfunded And The Anonymous Nobody, their first album in over 10 years. While you think they'd be super busy in the studio, the trio has taken the time to release, "God It," a groovy non-album track that features the greatest MC alive, Nas.

The uploaded the tune to their SoundCloud page with this message:

"While busy at work, we also like to play! This song is not from the new album, but an indication of the good music to come... Just a little appetizer until we complete the main course. You may recognize our featured guest. Enjoy."

If anything, "God It" proves De La Soul has still got it.
