It's amazing to me that English lyrics, when sung as part of a song, tend to lose any hint of their original accent.
Case in point: DBFC are Parisian. And typically that might mean a heavy French dialect, but not in this case. In fact, they sound so good that they may as well be out of the UK (to be fair, lead singer Dombrance may just have a perfect English accent and I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt...).
"Staying Home" is the band's first new single on [PIAS] Different Recordings (Crystal Fighters, Claptone), a smooth synth-pop track with hints of Jagwar Ma, MIami Horror and LCD Soundsystem floating in each nook and cranny.
