Why do we like this?

Day Wave presents a college life reflection through a soft and self-reflective alt-rock ballad.

It might seem odd to invoke the term "Campus Rock" when discussing a band, but Day Wave has truly captured a youthful and anxious energy in their track "As You Are." The song unfolds as a foggy and ghostly blend of shoegaze, alt-rock, and a teenage rebellion that resonates with the most troubled of poets. Listening to the track feels like taking your mind on a road trip through a camera roll, offering a plethora of sights and experiences.

Day Wave successfully reintroduces a youthful calm to the alt-rock scene with "As You Are," and for that, they deserve applause.
