Baby, baby, baby. Boys Noize coming in with a seriously dark take on David Lynch's "Good Day Today." Just uploaded on SoundCloud this week, the remix was released by UK label Sunday Best, home to Lynch.
I've been a fan of Boys Noize for a number of years now, as his productions are always epically spot on. I mean, who doesn't love "Jeffer?" This remix does not disappoint. Among all the competencies of this track, what stands out most is the alignment of the lyrics and melodic tone, which I think the original does not do. It's making me sadder than when I started this track, but for some reason I'm heading back for another listen. After I wipe this slowly rolling tear from my cheek, of course.
Plus, there's also the Family Guy oddity at the end. Apparently it's a wonderful day for pie.
