Why do we like this?

Not too long ago, Cid Rim did a viciously good remix of CHVRCHES "Recover." It was the first time I'd seen his name, but I didn't hesitate to add the song to my favorites.

Flash forward a couple weeks and here we are with a great new remix of Darwin Deez's "You Can't Be My Girl." We're clearly pretty big fans of Darwin (he's playing our SXSW showcase in March), so it wasn't going to take much for Cid to win me over on this one.

Cid Rim's remix takes this track in a whole new modern direction, drifting far from the indie pop sounds of Darwin'sSongs for Imaginative People. Clearly his latest album title was wholly appropriate: there's a strong display of creativity with this remix.
