Why do we like this?

If you're listening to this song, the last thing you probably expect is an epic Jack White solo at 1:45. And while it's obviously not Jack White behind the strings, Darwin Deez nails the sound.

"You Can't Be My Girl" comes off Darwin's new album Songs For Imaginative People, recently released via Lucky Number Music. The album is chock full of great indie pop songs, which is why we're particularly excited Darwin will be playing at our SXSW showcase this year.
