Another amazingly sunny day in San Francisco means that I have no option but to choose a Song of the Day with an upbeat vibe to it. So, while his lyrics may not be sugar-coated (this one's all about a bad break-up), Darwin Deez's unique sound easily qualifies for Spring-time listening.
"Up In The Clouds" comes off the New York City-based artist's debut album Darwin Deez. When asked about the song, Darwin Smith explained:
I was in a relationship with this girl and I screwed up... I cheated on this girl and then she got really mad. So I wrote her this song. I knew it wasn't going somewhere, so I had to put the nail in the coffin.
