Remember Dan Croll? The Liverpool-based artist's debut single, "From Nowhere," sucker punched the blog-trolling hipster scene with a force unseen and unheard sinceZane Lowe premiered "Sweater Weather." Thatinfectious piece of indie ear candy did wonders for The Neighbourhood, just as "From Nowhere" has bought Dan Croll the time needed to properly prep an album for 2013.
Considering all the buzz that song built, it was weird to see two "From Nowhere" remixes on Dan Croll'sSoundCloudgoing largely unnoticed. I'm not a huge fan of what Stealing Sheep did with the tune, but Baardsen's rework is a great alternative to the original. It's worth noting thatBaardsen previously remixed Grimes'"Oblivion." I don't know much else about the producer(s)? at this point.
Be sure to pick up From Nowhereon iTunes, and stream all three official remixes over on Dan Croll'sMySpace.
