Why do we like this?
Weeks after announcing that Thee Oh Sees were done for the time being, John Dwyer now has a solo record coming out in the near future. It's under the moniker Damaged Bug, with the album titled Hubba Bubba.
The first single, "Eggs at Night," makes it seem like this might be a little more experimental than his previous work; as he stated, they used "synthesizers, drum machines, and assorted hand-made electronics." The album cover is also a trip, with a first person view of a spaceship, including a marijuana leaf air-freshener and a picture of Brian Eno. What more do you need in outer space?
