Daft Punk Get Lucky (Nico Jaar & Dave Harrington Remix)

You're going to have to forgive me on a few accounts here. First up, I'm posting another "Get Lucky" remix. Sorry, but I promise this one's different! The second is that while Nicolas Jaar & Dave Harrington have remixed Daft Punk's entire Random Access Memories, this is the only cut I'm sharing with you.

Okay, so let's talk about this remix. "Get Lucky" has been remixed and covered a million different ways, by far the most frequently tackled song off the album. Fortunately, almost every version we've featured thus far has brought a new twist, and this rendition of "Get Lucky" is anything but the original. Featuring a groovy and 80s-esque dance synth, the track only barely touches on Pharrell's hook.

Secondly, let's talk about this full remix album. It's all on Soundcloud, and is titled Daftside. Some people are going to love it, and others are going to hate it. At the end of the day, it's pretty darn fun to step through, and certainly a monumental task to have pulled off. You should probably just listen to it.
