Why do we like this?
Dada Life had a particularly rip-roaring set at Coachella, drawing a huge crowd to their midday Sunday performance. At least, that's what I heard.
Personally, I opted to skip the performance -- the thumping electronic house music of the Sahara tent had become especially redundant, and I just couldn't make it through another throbbing performance.
In light of that, I can observe that there's a lot to be said for the quality of proper recordings. Take this original mix of "Rolling Stones T-shirt": while certainly more toward the pop-spectrum, it's absolutely tolerable -- if not enjoyable -- to listen to.
