Hello Internet and welcome to the first few moments after I realized that what I recently experienced was indeed burnout. Thank you for joining me and please walk right this way.
Long story short, after months of waking up before sunrise in order to fit in exercise, meditation, shower, breakfast, and, of course, Netflix before work, I hit a wall that I never saw coming. Enter Dad Bod's "The Drifter" just in the nick of time to slow things all the way down.
"The Drifter" allows me to float along on beautiful string-work before vocals like liquid forest-wood enter the picture, burying me in the rich soil of tasteful musicianship. And just like that, I feel, at once and again, grounded. Just what I needed and I hope it can do the same for you. Enjoy ♡
