Sounds like:
Juj,
Depakote,
Black Moth Super Rainbow
Why do we like this?
Here are some chilled out beats off label Anticon from Wedidit affiliate D33J. For those of you that don't know, Anticon is the home of Baths and Wedidit boasts names like Juj and Shlohmo. D33j is in good company, and his debut EP reflects it.
This track, "Park (Tape Version)," is all about the beeps and bops, nicely paired with some lush vocals. Kinda like if Black Moth Super Rainbow and Aphex Twin had a beat baby. It'll conjure images of driving down the coast on a sunny day -- it's definitely laid-back enough for the upcoming summer.
The EP drops via Anticon on April 30, and you can follow his remixes and refixes on SoundCloud. I particularly recommend his buzzing yet atmospheric version of Sigur Ros's "Ekki Mukki."
