Why do we like this?

Doing Real Ass Music is not for the faint of heart. You might make a super catchy song and toil and work to flip it from genuine regional heater to undeniable hit. You might get that same song jacked and re-purposed by the biggest artist in your genre and see them take your wave to the road of endless success... and memes. 

But if you're Shelley Massenburg-Smith, you don't give a fuck. You keep it pushing and spread your infectiously posi-vibe tunes to any ear willing to listen. 

That's how we land on today's feel-good, confidence-building self-help mantra. "I Luv It" finds D.R.A.M.'s gravelly falsetto joined with two sweet-sounding dames, a very apropos juxtaposition. 

Yes, this song is from way back in 2015. Remember that year? No matter. The vibrancy in this track is timeless. Just try to make it through one listen without making your own version of D.R.A.M.'s epic expression, "I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it!"
