I'm always down for some tasteful, post punk electro pop to grace my ears.
This time it's Cymbals with their single "Erosion." What a lovely, low-key yet uplifting track. The bass sticks out to me as a lead, which is something I can always get behind, while the guitar dances about in the background. The synths and beat play an integral part in this song also. Without them, there'd be no foundation.
All in all, I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across this song. Collectively, it represents everything you'd want to hear in a post punk dance tune. "Erosion" is taken from Cymbals' new album, The Age of Fracture, due to release on January 27.
