Why do we like this?
Producer Cuthead has always operated around the quirkier edges of house as well as being a dab hand with a sample, so his new track "Maputo Jam" makes perfect sense.
The geographically keen among you will have already noted that Maputo is the capital of Mozambique, and in the track he's named after the city, Cuthead engages with some African style samples in what has been described as "a tune in classical Cuthead-manner with its irresistible drumming full of stumbling blocks and layers of sweet synth-melodies."
You can get a copy of Everlasting Sunday, Cuthead's latest release, which falls somewhere between EP and album, right here.
