Why do we like this?
Original new content from Ratatat? OMG PLZ! Oh wait... this song is actually on Brazilian group CSS's new album La Liberacion. Whatever, doesn't matter to me. Anything Ratatat touches turns to gold IMO.
The song begins with stark, high-pitched keyboard and megaphone vocals that quickly give way to a slick guitar lick. It's actually one of the more minimalistic tracks I've heard featuring Ratatat -- notably, there's very little hint of the synth-work they're so famous for. But that makes sense. This isn't Ratatat's album, it's CSS's!
La Liberacion will be released on August 29 as the band's third full-length, recorded while touring. Grab it here!
