Why do we like this?

I've only just come across Crywolf, and man am I blown away by him.

Originally bred in the EDM scene, the artist has shown a wonderful versatility by flexing his singer-songwriter muscles in the sparse, emotive "Weight."

The lead single from his forthcoming album, "Weight" is a song that truly highlights all of LA based Justin Taylor Phillips' dynamic talent, taking a step away from the electronic style that catapulted him into the limelight.

Haunting vocals, acoustic guitar strains, and a late introduction of sparse, layered production give a hint of the indie electronic direction he'll be taking in his upcoming work. Looking forward to hearing more of the same!
